Personal Introduction:

Ming Li received B.S. degree from Anhui University in 2009. Then, He studied the statistical physics as applied to complex networks and complex systems at University of Science and Technology of China, and graduated with a Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics. From 2014 to 2016, he was a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Modern Physics at University of Science and Technology of China. In the first half of 2016, he worked at Department of Applied Physics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Post-doctoral Fellow. From 2016 to 2021, he worked at School of Engineering Science, University of Science and Technology of China as a Research Scientist. Since 2022, he works at Department of Physics, Hefei University of Technology as a Professor of Physics.

The group of Ming Li conducts research on the Statistical Physics and Complex Systems. By statistical physics, computer simulations, and empirical methods, they investigate the organization mechanism and critical phenomena of various systems, based on which they aim to understand the universal nature of natural and social complex systems.

Research Interest:

Phase transition and critical phenomena, complex networks, nonlinear dynamics.

Courses:

Graduate: "Advanced Statistical Physics", "Lectures on Frontiers of the Discipline"
