Personal Introduction:

Haidi Wang, male, Associate Research Fellow and Master's Supervisor. He graduated from Nanjing Normal University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry in 2012, and obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China in 2018. He conducted postdoctoral research at Iowa State University from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been working at Hefei University of Technology. His research primarily focuses on the theoretical design of low-dimensional materials, high-throughput computations, machine learning, and materials database development. His current work involves the simulation of novel two-dimensional functional materials, crystal structure prediction and global optimization algorithms, development of machine learning potential functions, high-throughput computations, and design of magnetic materials. To date, he has published nearly 20 papers in high-level academic journals such as Research, Nanoscale, and 2D Materials, and has been invited to review for professional journals including Nanoscale, JPCC, and RSC Advance.
